Remove Coccozella Pictures

What is Coccozella

Coccozella is a website dedicated to publishing unauthorized photographs of individuals.  The site contains photos of individuals in various stats of undress who generally have not consented to have their photographs taken and may not even know they are being photographed.  Once an individual realizes his or her photo is on this site, they usually seek to remove Coccozella pictures immediately.

In exchange for free membership, individuals are urged to submit photographs they took of other people.  As Coccozella states:

“If you shot some photos at a beach or any place or event where clothing gets scarce, anytime over the past 10 years (or even before that!), those photos are like valuable currency here. Send your images to us! We will edit them and present them attractively in your own galleries on coccozella.com. If you don’t have anything to submit, why not shoot something new? Take some friends to the beach who you know like to get naked, and shoot a photo-diary of the day! Your benefits may go beyond free membership.”

It is hard to remove Coccozella pictures.  The issue with Coccozella is that the site does not identify the pictured individuals by name.  As a result, you very well may not know that there are photographs of you online until you or someone you know stumbles upon them.

How We can Help Remove Coccozella Pictures

We believe that Coccozella’s troves of unauthorized photographs violate the law and have successfully removed Coccozella pictures as a result.  New York Civil Rights Law § 50 provides the following insight: Right of privacy: A person, firm or corporation that uses for advertising purposes, or for the purposes of trade, the name, portrait or picture of any living person without having first obtained the written consent of such person, or if a minor of his or her parent or guardian, is guilty of a misdemeanor.

This website profits off your pictures, and we will have them taken down.
