DS&A Client Awarded $1.2M Judgment in Nonconsensual Pornography Case

Following an inquest before Judge Frank P. Nervo, Plaintiff M.H. was awarded more than one million dollars in damages.

In a Complaint filed on December 23, 2020, Plaintiff M.H. alleged that defendant had first threatened and antagonized her with her intimate images and later sent them to a mutual friend in order to further taunt her.

A judgment was filed on September 21, 2022 following an inquest at which Judge Nervo heard testimony from Plaintiff and feminist social psychologist, Dr. Asia Eaton.

At the inquest, Judge Nervo awarded Plaintiff $350,000 in compensatory damages for emotional distress; $646.05 in past medical expenses; $110,000 in future medical expenses; $750,000 in punitive damages; $850 in expert fees; and $25,000 in attorney’s fees.
